fresh earth 47
Its not hard to tell who her sire is anyways she is his double , The mrs had her today and i sliped my fawn bitch on a rabbit about 30 yards into a feild we were about the same away and did crush not bloody slip the lead on the mrs. Well she opened up for the first time and pissed all over my wee fawn bitch neither got the bunny but was good to see just how fast she is starting to get glad she has a1 recall as i just gave her a whistle and she come in and after a check over was fine and dandy. Mrs still had a 45 minute ear battering for her incompetint handeling lol. I also had her of for a short period along the river its swollen [bANNED TEXT] up the now so the older dogs jamp a wall rather than slip through the gap in the fence well crush being crush thought she would get round quicker and headed for the gap except after getting through it she kept going full throtle till she was skating half way across the dam river well after crapping her pants she got her head together and swam back out to have a couple of runs round the feild with excitement. Can't watch vids at moment - something up with my flash player (!) - any advice help on conditioning, feeding, exercise etc is appreciated - I've had my oldest dog 7 years - but still consider myself a novice compared to you guys, so good to learn. As you know this is my first litter that I've bred myself too, so that was all new. She's throwing more to the sires side I think (he was 3/4 grey, 1/4 whippet ) in picture below,. Dam in my avatar - struggled to find something smart looking that was a good worker with no bull in to put over her tbh. Agree with what you say about their prey drive and working instinct - that's why I wanted to get something as similar to my bitch as possible. If this pup is half as good as her mum I'll be made up. Thanks for comments. Dew claws - I wish I had someone to show me (vet wanted £20 per pup - but that was on top of the £440 c section - and I just iddn't have it on me at that time!) Mines enjoying the freedom of the running too and likes having a play about with the bigger dogs. Your crush is a smart little thing - more whippety looking than mine, its nice to watch them progressing. ATB. Quote Link to post

Probably won't have any more litters - but always useful to know - did think about doing it but they were about 4 days old and I was scared to do it wrong and loose them. By the sounds of it - there better done after a day or two old anyhow. Appreciate your help - cheers mate. Quote Link to post
