secretagentmole 1,701
Our gundog Labrador is called Biggles, he is black, was born at the end of the runway for RAF Conningsby (where the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are based), my grandfather flew in Lancs in the Second World War and he is very much like the Labrador of a certain Guy Gibson in appearance (and blasted drinking habits). Unfortunately we could not name him after Gibson's dog and we had to choose a name you could yell on the beach without getting a mouth full of fist or arrested! When my wife decided she wanted a Corgi as well we just had to name him Algy!
