Ron Weasley 83
I've got one, and I love it. I have had one or two problems with it in the past, but these seem to have been ironed out now, and it's incredible. It's just over 6lbs I believe. I think it's significantly lighter than the HW100, but don't quote me. I can't imagine ever parting with mine. Quote Link to post
jasper65 6
A pal brought round his new R10 the other day so we could fit his Sidewinder 30 IR Tactical 4.5-14x42 Rifle Scope for zeroing! (which incidently is a cracking scope). after shooting the R10 and compareing it with My Air Ranger I have to say you get as much with a R10 for half the price, must say its a stunning gun and a stunning set up he has there! scope and all in the picture. Take Care Jasp Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Can anyone tell me where the R10's are made?? Are they really British Small Arms or are they farmed off to Turkey or Spain like most other 'British' guns these days?? Just wondering.... Cheers. Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi mate, I’ve owned a .22 calibre r10 for almost 2 years now and have good experience with them. I also own a HW100T so can speak truly about it in relation to the HW100T as well. The r10 is lighter in weight than the HW100T for sure. It’s a very accurate and capable rifle straight out the shop and will outshoot anyone I know in this form. It’s capable of producing 1 hole, 10 shot groups at 30 metres with ease. I know this because I did this 2 weeks ago with Andy’s r10 on here that isn’t tuned or tweaked. Finely tune it and get the regulator tweaked from 50 bar shots to 90 bar shots and it will match any hunting rifle on the market including your £1200 Daystate’s for accuracy and consistency. This may seem a big statement but that’s how good this rifle can be if played with. Mine has had all the above done plus more, plus it has had a 12 inch BSA Ultra barrel fitted to make it super carbine and even lighter. A Twink Mark 2 or (3) silencer will make it super quiet and turn it into an excellent, outstanding hunting rifle (both calibres) or target / HFT rifle (.177 calibre). If I ever had to sell a rifle to down scale, the HW100T would go first without a thought or blink of an eye. Don’t get me wrong I’m not knocking the HW100T as it’s also a awesome rifle mate and up there with the other top accurate rifles on the market, its just that I PERSONALLY rate the r10 better that I have said what I have. Hope this helps Si. Quote Link to post

Don't quote me 100% on this Andy but I think you'll find BSA was taken over by Gammo . they're certainly not a british made rifle anymore like the BSA's of old.... Jasp Quote Link to post
