wayney 1
I have a rapid mk2 .22 which I use for rats and pigeons it's excellent for this job as where I shoot there are 100's of rats and on the other farm there are alot of pigeons the rapid comes in handy here because it gives you a massive amount of shots per charge. I also have a air arms s400 .177 which I use for rabbits and this is also a excellent rifle, very accurate and very light for when your out mooching all day. Two very diffrent rifles but both excellent Quote Link to post

jackinbox99 41
air arms s410 carbine is the one for me. Thats not saying its any better or worse than any other PCP out there - I think these days pretty much all the PCPs are spot on and its more down to which one the shooter gets on better with. Ive had my s410 for quite a few years now and its had dozens and dozens of rabbits and pigeons. Ive also had great fun plinking beer cans and 2p sized targets in my back yard. Pellet on Pellet at 35->45yards no problem and more shots out of a fill than i`ll ever use in the field. Sometimes I have 4 or 5 hunting sessions before I even bother refilling it. I gave it a full service and changed the seals on it a year or so back and its still going spot on now. Looking at its for sale value these days, its also held its value no end, ive hardly lost anything on it at all - one of the benefits of buying 2nd hand rather than new. Quote Link to post
silentshot1 206
I'm going to go with the S410's It's more than enough performance wise without being something you'll be scared to use due to price! Quote Link to post
