As some may know, my bitch suffered a nasty leg break back in November, just started her back exercising in the last 2 weeks........now I am not a big fan of roadwalking (I know some are and I am not slating them but I am just not) so I have been taking her out every other night for good walks and maybe given her 1 or 2 runs if I decide they are right & safe.......

She has been so up for it and tonight she scored :clapper: ......she needed it to be honest and it feels like I am at the end of a long road..........1 bunny can mean a lot

Onward and upward, but steady as she gos ;)

Cheers,

J

Im absolutley buzzing for you both :D I know exactly how you feel, after 2 operations, months and months of rest then exercise i took Jazz for 3 runs max on the lamp...the very last run she caught one as it got in the hedge, not a brilliant catch but one all the same, a boost for her as much as me. Then stupidly one night took her out forgot about restricted running and she could hardly walk the next day  Her good back leg was hurting more than her bad (probs over compensating for the bad)

Today she has had her 3rd and final operation, she is looking very well, she is now about middle aged for a working dog and if she cant run properly again when she is healed she never will.

Either way she is staying here and can chase as much as she wants on walks...it wont hurt anything if she never catches them will it ;)

MOLL.

nice one,i hope the dog keeps ok for you,i know how you feel as my young bitch has spent a fair time on the lead, nothing major, just knocks, and little things, but it always seems to happen just as its getting to the dark phase of the moon,or when the wind is blowing, and theres nothing worse than lying in bed listening to a gale blowing, and not being able to get out,

good hunting skinnyrat
