ChickenFarmer 0
Hi, I use buckshot in a 2.75" 12-ga Rem 870 pump action and also in a 12-ga 3" magnum Browning A4 semi-auto. I can find 12-ga buckshot (AAA, SG, SG-LG ) only in Roll Top Crimp ... which means that I can fit only ONE in the theoretically 2-shot magazine of either weapon. So ... can shorter (when unfired) star crimp buckshot be bought in the UK? Quote Link to post
danebrewer10 6
huh? sure I have 50gm BBs in 50gm with a star crimp closure, do you mean by "roll top crimp" a RTO? with a plastic disk secured by a rolled over portion of the lip of the case? larger shot sizes seem to come in these RTO closures Quote Link to post

danebrewer10 6
there's loads, I have Lyalvale Max Game ATM, Gamebore do a Mammoth Hi Bird 3" 50gm BB, Hull Cartridge do their Solway Magnum 3" 50gm BB take your pick! expect to pay about £16 or so per box (25 cartridges) the Gamebores come packed in 10s and I think they were £6 or £7 a box or so I can't see a use for anything over AAA personally as even the AAA, the maximum shot charge I have found is 36gm, 50gm although it kicks, does have a helluva lot of pellets!
