I don't see the point in a beddlington x saluki.

Maybe a beddy Lurcher x Saluki Lurcher.

I just can't see the point in a first x saluki/beddy.

I would have thought a first x beddy saluki wouldn't have enough speed , but I seen a couple of first cross Irish terrier salukis run a few years ago . I thought at the time , because of the lack of greyhound in the breed pace would be an issue , but it wasn't and they ran very well

have a beddy greyhound bitch and would like to add some saluki to the mix in a couple years time

i know this is an old Thread, but i have a Bedlington dog, and a saluki greyhound bitch, the bitch is 2 but has only had one season, this year is make or break for her tbh, but if she makes the grade i am considering mating the 2 to produce good rabbit dogs

in about 1970 I had a bedlington whippet cross saluki best day time dog I ever saw.[ and ive seen a lot of the greats] she went to similar dogs and pure whippets some had coat most were smooth but they all could kill hares pups from this bitch went all over the east midlands and had great success. anybody considering something similar could be on to a winner as long as things gell. all the best two crows

its a real tough x, and have very little injury problems, and can run on the hardest of stuff...

if there good dogs and that clicks should be ideal over there. atb two crows
