neil rob 0 Posted February 6, 2011 Report Share Posted February 6, 2011 well made the disision to start the pup on sum rabbis wind was blowing a gale an a good dark night so off we went first field a cupl of rabbits so off we went and wee got about 20 yards and the rabbit moved and the pups head and ears stood to attention let him gif a little pul on the lead and off he went 3 turns off the hedge and bang the dog striked the rabbit and picked it up and back he came as proud as i was and dropped the rabbit in my hand so with a smile from ear to ear off we went to the next field had 1 run in there but the thing got the hedge be for the dog got on it so went for 1 more run be for we went home so spotted a rabbit in the middle of the field so we got about 20 yards and the rabbit took off down the field with the pup on its ass up and down the hedge 5 or 6 times and hit it on the run well pleased with the pup at 9 months old and standing 26ths looking forward to the next outing on tuesday night :thumbs: Quote Link to post
