rabbits carrying young

got a few rabbits this morning 3 had young in them anyone had the same atb

Grass will grow at 7 degrees anything above that it will florish plenty of grub meens plenty of rabbits but it sure is mild at the moment , Could do with a right cold spell for at least two weeks ,

most of the does are knotted down south which also means there rather stay to ground and dont like to bolt faceing the ferret or finding a nice stop end to sit it out unless dug to

we had today down south south east that were about the size of 2 AA batteries side by side... I have to admit there was definately guilt there

Yes I've been digging to young, and most of them are carrying young now... Get at them before the cover kicks in, will make a difference come spring..

I'm not as fortunate as you down here in South Wales with numbers Ian, if I make too much of a dent now I will have very low numbers next season...... I understand what you're saying though.
