Does that extra bit of trainability come through? I have often thought about adding a dash of something else to this breeding to ease training as the saluki can be hard work. Cheers Gaz this dog never lets me down ! he sticks to quarry like glue and will run all night, nothing phases him !! hes a bit thin skinned but thats the only fault on him but its not a major problem !! its a pleasure to own a dog like him and he is very loyal aswell !!ive mated him to my bitch shes saluki/ grey so hopefully will have some good pups in march ! Gaz yes hes getting there with the training not really ran him on much just yet, just takin him steady, have heard that some off the others from the litter have been doing very well on the lamp!! One of these put over a coursing sal/grey bitch or vice versa could make awesome dogs. Is it just me who has notice this or are Saluki's like marmite?
