would you reccomend ?

Recommended Posts

just been reading through your recent posts mate and i think you may find it hard getting CF at the age of 15 personally i would get either 22lr or .17hmr/.17mach 2 and get out there and put some holes i paper and use up some rounds so whn you apply for CF you can prove you have been putting rounds out and getting experiance cos air rifles is the main starting point for everyone but it is totally different from shooting even 22 rimmy cos they do bounce a lot and after you have heard a few rikky off the ground and hit a few trees in the distance it does open you eyes a bit and make you think , sound like u in good hands with derboy so all the best and get them forms sent off

Brad just make sure Derboy has an open slot for what ever calibre you choose on his ticket so that he can buy you the rifle and then the ammo although im not sure how that would go i.e. if he used an open slot to buy you say a 223 then sold you it ,so effectively didnt have a 223 on his ticket would he still be able to buy ammo? sorry if im being a est mate

any cz brno 22lr wil do the job mate ui bought a 22lr brno mod 1 made in 1950s shoots sub 1" @ 50yards no prob cost me £100 and since had barrel cut down to 12" for £60 and fitted silencer for £30 endless fun to shoot mate and will go for ever and ever (touch wood)!!! a 223 is going to be a lot more expensive and would be looking to buy a new rifle if poss with it being a hot round and you want the barrel in as good condition as possible and not soem gun that has had million rounds through it at a range and is on its last legs to get a nice set up for fox you prob looking at £1000 have a look at a tikka t3 around £650 then silencer going to be £200 then scopeand rings on that and ammo to try and see what suits gun best prive ammo only £10 a box of 20 but other stuff about £20 for 20 also going to need cleaning kit mate its all adding up aint it but dnt forget when you apply for fac and have it granted you dont have to go out and buy all the guns you have applied for straight away just buy one and stick with it and gets some rounds down ranges
