mick01 36
i been after a rifle in 177. for a while now. mainly to allow me a little margin for error when lamping. im not to bad at judging distance but could be much better. a skill that takes alot of practice i know. theres nothing wrong with my current rifle, aas410 in 22. its never had a fault. deadly accurate and a pleasure to shoulder. i should keep this rifle for the rest of my life really.. BUT.. ive always liked the hw100's and looked at si's pics the other day and the deal he got sounded fantastic, so went to the gunshop today to pick some pellets up and there it was behind the blokes head. a brand new hw100kt. he got it down for me 2 shoulder and mess about with. fit like a glove! the extra weight just felt like quality to me. in the ideal world i would love to have both. but its hard to justify over a £1000 worth of air rifles when im buying a house in the next few months i could buy a hw100 and trade my s410 in. or sell my s410 and buy a second hand hw100. or give my head a shake and keep my s410!! il sleep on it Quote Link to post
lampingboy 305
3 years ago when i was 12 i went to buy my first pcp,i tried the AAs410 carbine and hw100kt both .22 along with a bsa a few other guns in the end i opted for the s410k mainly because of the light weight and i prefered the bolt action to the lever,i also got a cracking deal, the gun was brand new with hawke 3-9x40 diving bottle 2 tins of pellets gun case silencer and a few other bits all for £570 i think it was.But i must say! im quite tempted to save for a .177 and i think i would go for a hw100 possibly the kt. I would say ,put 20 pound away each week and you will soon have one along with a house but if and when you do get one,be sure to let me know how you get one cheers mate, Brad. Quote Link to post
