They will be fine mate mine get full mackeral when they are in season, i boil them first,they have been eating them for years with no problem

They will be fine once in a while i buy tins of sardines .I give the dogs the ones in tomato sauce and the ones in olive oil to the ferrets

i feed mine full mackeral mate and the dogs get some they love it and its good for them mate but not to much like said above
