OUT YESTERDAY

Went out yesterday with a few other members of this forum to protect, well nothing realy but our own interests as we have no ban . We headed out at about 10, went to our first set of earths. First couple there was nothing doing then on about the third earth a wee bitch entered and bang we were on. We gave her 15-20 minutes to settle.Got the box and had her at a steady mark of 1.1 which is about 4 1/2ft in the old scale. This place was in amongst thick brambles and thorn bushes well away from anywhere. We cleared the scrub and set about digging.The digging was actualy quite easy considering where this earth was located, no heavy roots or clay. After about 20-30 mins we broke through to a big dog fox. He was locked in a pocket dishing it out as best he could. We gave a few pups a quick nosey in the stopend to which they did realy well as it was the first thing they had seen.Well pleasing for their owners.We then drew and despatched our quarry backfilled and moved on.We never found anything for the rest of the day so we packed it in at about 4. A good day was had and the dogs enjoyed themselves.
