Ossie n Arch 1,682
I use one of these. http://www.theomm.com/products/packs/UltraWaistPouch.html Two 7ah batteries together side by side fit alright. Get it nice and tight and no worries. Quote Link to post
mr-lurcher 6
i have 18amp batter and i think the best way is around your waist on a belt Quote Link to post
rapidjenky 97
i just use a really wide nylon strap and gaffer tape it to the battery. hang it over my shoulder. then again i am only useing a 9ah battery. ide rather use 2x smaller batterys next to each other in a decent backpack padded out if i needed more power then just 1 9ah. Don 5
Double belts can be bought online for £15 plus delivery, you can buy the batteries online as well for about £12 each, you can buy the cigar plug type connectors online for about £2 each, dead easy to connect up with some wire. I use one and swear by it, got a lanyard round my lamp and hook it over my head, batteries round waist on belt then youve got the ideal set up you can have two hands free without having to put your lamp down, my last one lasted for 10+ years apart from renewing batteries now and again the only reason I replaced it was cause the bagg was becoming tatty, bought a new one from Deben. Tyla 3,179
The lamp on a lanyard is a must. I either use 17ah in a backpack for a full night or 7ah in a bino case over my shoulder if its just a quick shine. Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
If anyone has problems with the belt pack slipping down, why not stitch a strong set of brace on the belt so it is over your shoulders aswell as around your waste. Quote Link to post
bradaz2009 9
i just bang mine in a bag if its the 17amp one wrap a jumper inbetween the battery and the bag wat touches me but if its just a shine a 7amp in my belt pack does for me Quote Link to post
