irishnut 297
just looking pics of how you carry your battery while lamping on foot, i'm pissed of carrying it in a bag, and it moves around digging in. i've seen the battery on a board method but dont look to good in rain. irishnut 297
i use a 17ah battery, gel sealed. way to heavy and big for my pocket. but moves around and sits badly in my backpack. guess i'm just gonna have to make up some tabs to hold it in 1 place tightly in the bag Quote Link to post
Chid 6,519
i find the same thing happens but i just get on with it lol... try carrying your battery a couple of rabbits and a fox (have to remove them from one of my permission) then it digs in hahhahah Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Buy a rucksack with a back board. I use a standard rucksack with a 18amp golf buggy battery, never have any problems and I walk several miles during a night out..... Quote Link to post

hullhunter 219
i use a sheet of this foam padding folded in half and cut to the size of my rucksack. put it in between your back and your battery. i use a 20 amp battery and it dont bother me even if you have to get a jog on the battery it dose not bang on your back. supersam 64
What about around your waist on a belt? Hey Von, how you doing..... I had a waist belt for a few seasons, hated it, you could never get in comfy and it always fell of jumping fences etc..... had the same problem with mine.a battery either side of he waist and it keep falling down when getting over gates and ditches. i then taped them together and put them in a camera bag over the shoulder and as a camera bag is padded(obviously to protect a expensive camera) it is very comfortable.
