DUCKWING 302
NICE STOCK YOU HAVE THERE MOLL , THE ARE FUNNY LITTLE THINGS , A FEW FRIENDS KEEP THEM AROUND THEIR PIGEON LOFTS AS A WAY OF KEEPING ANY DROPPED GRAIN FROM ATTRACTING RATS , PERSONALLY A GOOD TRAPS DOES A BETTER JOB I THINK .... BUT IT HASNT THE COMEDY VALUE OF THOSE LITTLE FELLAS ALL THE BEST DUCKWING

Moll. 1,770
Thank you Red. The 5th pic is her a bit older. She is quite 'gamey' looking, muscular, tight feathered, should be very useful for breeding Yes had 3 broodies, down to one now. They are usually very good at sitting. I'm hatching with bators at the mo. Untill any start sitting.
CarraghsGem 92
if you have any eggs for sale later on pm me! i like the birds you have there, good seramas are hard to find over here.
Moll. 1,770
I don't have enough eggs to fill an incubator at the mo Gem. I only have 4 decent hens old enough to lay, and they don't lay everyday, realistically it will be next year before i have enough hens to have surplus eggs. Serama eggs do not travel well, and the better the parents the worse the eggs are. So i would be loathed to waste them on the postal system. If you or anyone you know will be over here later in the year i may have a few eggs or birds you could have. It all depends on what quality you want? If you want good show standard or pet standard.

artic 595
I use to keep a few trios of these small wonderful, active bantams, the days before the poultry world became all girly whirly........ In the early 90's I can remember seeing these birds hitting well below 300g. Due to their size, they are very manageable, and great garden pets, however they do tend to catch the chill very quickly. I have friends who keep these and have good fertility levels. It's nice to see more numbers in shows.
