Sorry to hear about your troubles mate.

 

Did you find the tube when you got to 12ft? and did you get a rough mark by ear?

 

Dont give up just because she went mute mate.there must be some digging lads close to you that would be there at dawn for you if you asked,I know if I wasn't so far away (across the water) I'de be there like a shot to help you and I recon most terrier men would to.

 

Worth going back to the place tonight with a lamp aswell mate, its quite possible that she has laid with her quarry and will leave the eath of her own accord.

I'm not trying to fill you with false hopes mate but if you get some decent lads together you should be able to get her back and even if she has been Killed in action you'lbe able to able to lay her to rest properly and have your own peace off mind.

 

Many terriers have been to ground mute for hours and hours and even days and are rescued sucsessfully mate

did you dig down 12ft or trench in 12ft not being funny,but you say you heard the dog sounding was that from the entrance it had to be.If you did'nt block up any tubes while digging theres a chance she is still alive,maybe just stuck,go back out and if you can try with another dog all the better if not leave a coat or something like that outside.If it comes out she might stick around,hope you get her back safe.
