Col_c88 41
hey guys... sorry for all the questions ive put on latley but another just popped into my head I understand that i should feed my ferrets (when i bloody get them!) rabbits and other raw meat (apart from salty stuff like pork), but when feeding fish or chicken should i cook it first? also should i gut the rabbits and skin them or just throw them in. wilson4347 5
No you dont need to cook the meat they want it raw, i usually gut the rabbits before throwing them in, leave the heart and lungs in, and leave the skin on! Quote Link to post
The one 8,467
You would be better feeding everything raw in my option ,i just gut the rabbits and freeze them and defrost them as needed .Fish i put in complete ,The chicken i was feeding carcesses but ive started mincing them into 3lb bags roughly the same as a rabbit and feed them that Quote Link to post

Aaron_butcher 17
dont cook any meat you give them, just gut the rabbits as has been said but leave fur on, if its a complete raw diet i think they need the fur as a source of fibre or something similar. Quote Link to post
