I,ll PM you..maybe its time I tried North again..except last time I came up North it was worse than it is down here in South Yorkshire..although it was a very cold frosty night.

 

i,ll tell you something else...there's been a few so called big time hunters offered me a night out off this site..but so far only a couple who have been good to their word.

one bloke even offered to put me and the wife up in his B+B...funny thing is,He never actually replied when i PM him...they just talk the talk to make themselves look like decent fellas to the rest of us.

 

Dotty i'm not saying anything to you..please don't think so...I'm just venting at the rest of the so called fellow hunters who have so far only led me up the garden path and told me where to go and catch f..k all...i've done some serious miles this season..and a lot of it wasted when I could have been doing something better.

im gonna stick to invites on decent lamping land or not bother from now on...there's a few spots not too far from home but they all get hammered by everyone else and its so hot nowadays i dont want to be getting hassled.. i like a mooch,but i dont want to be getting my head kicked in by other moocher's/keepers or in big shit with the Law. Permission is like a holy grail... hehehee

I also have to travel for good numbers, but still get out local for 4 runs and 1 rabbit lol, prob doing that later.

 

If you live in yorkshire, it can't be too far from some good spots? Seen some great bags taken in yorkshire, not in person, but on here and other sites, you just need to keep trying new spots.

im just too old and wise to risk myself/my dog/my car trying out new spots on the off chance of not getting into trouble.

 

i dont expect other people to get me decent bags..its just that on the odd occasion a decent like minded fella has and does offer me a night out on their patch..the dogs do the work.

 

And as for decent bags...my ideal would be a walk out local and 1 rabbit maybe 2 on a good night..i dont give a shit about big bags.

 

And i don't like the fact that every thread someone posts ends up as an argument.
