craftyhunter 0
I get the feeling this would be youre first hawk, forgive me if im wrong.. get a harris commit to the bird, put the time in and you will reap the rewards. liam hi mate i had a harris hawk a good few years back now and was thinking about getting back into it. i only had the harris hawk for 2 years but she went to a hawk centre in the end because of work and so on. im just doing some reading and watching dvds to refresh my memory because it was such a long time ago. i really enjoyed training the harris but was thinking about getting something a bit different. i probably will go for the harris in the end but just wanted to get a few opinions. im starting from scratch again so need to get all the kit and im thinking about free lofting rather than a weathering this time so will need to build that. i have a breeder of both birds in my area which im going to see soon so ill be able to pick him for some information but wanted to get some information before hand so i can ask him some good questions. i think the birds wont be ready till about May time so have lots of time yet. thanks for replying mate.
