Malt 379
Well the Grand Slam is on the cards tomorrow, the only two teams left who could win it. France have the full back out injured, which wont help. The replacement ain't too bad though. Sheridan back for England replacing Corbisero, who played well against Italy, so no loss there. England will need to be patient and not get hurried if they go behind. They need to carry on playing like they have in the first two matches. Home advantage is massive tomorrow, but the game will all depend on which French team turns up ?? If it's the good one, then it's gonna be close, England by 5. The poor one, well it could be lots. Come on England. Should be a good game.......one thing the French have shown in this 6 Nations is they concede tries but they still grind a victory out.Think England will nick it by the odd penalty if they don't get too adventurous. On a totally unrelated topic, this is quite a nice little tune.. :whistling: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHuvnGNKcnc

Ossie n Arch 1,682
Not a pretty game in the first half, England seemed to want to play "Flashy" rugby without doing the basics first. EG; No pick and go from the forwards to draw in the French defenders. Didn't go through the phases to make some space. Lots of speculative passes that didn't work and resulted in dropped ball. However in the second half, thats exactly what they did, and it worked for them. Two tries disallowed, i thought Tindalls was ok, he wasn't held but didn't get back on his feet, so i can see why it wasn't given. The French team lacked "Spark" IMO. But then the England defence is very strong, so the French may have been unable to get going because of that. I can't understand why England have to give penaltys away when thier defence is that good. All Frances points came from penaltys, you can't defend a penalty, so why give them away ?? Ireland away will be a cracking game now.

Irland away will be a cracking game now. If I take my heart out of the equation and speak as a neutral, the indiscipline in the English side is going to be it's downfall at the RWC. If things aren't going their way, they concede stupid penalties like handling on the ground. They were lucky to escape a yellow card in one case yesterday, right under the nose of the ref. The southern hemisphere teams will thrive off this and use it to their advantage. I hate to say it, but if Johnson can instil a 'cool head while under pressure' mentality into the English squad, they'll be serious contenders for the RWC later this year.. Mind you, that's not going to be an easy task given his own explosive mentality!
Ossie n Arch 1,682
It's coming down to the wire now, 2 games left. Scotland visit Twickenham on Sunday (I'm on call so could miss that game, and the next one aswell) looking to end 28 years of defeat there. Can't see it happening myself. I think Scotland have played well this year, just not well enough, and are looking at the wooden spoon if Italy turn them over. Which could happen. Englands game against Ireland should be a cracker, with England (Hopefully) going into it looking to win the GS. We will see. England to win on Sunday by 20.
mad al 146
Wales V Ireland should be a close game could even be a draw like last night's U20's. Yes I want Wales to win of course, but good luck to Ireland, don't mind if we loose to you :friends: For me, this or when England play Ireland could be the best match of the series. johnny boy68 11,726
It'll be tight game against Ireland for us today.........I'm hoping that James Hook at 10 will be the difference between the teams though if the Irish back row play like they did against the Scots they'll cause us problems.I'm going for a Wales win though it will be tight I can't see England getting turned over by the Scots especially at Twickenham, the Scottish will be fired up as they are for any Calcutta Cup game but England are playing decent rugby at the moment. If the English half-backs control the game and the forwards don't try and get into a wrestling match it could be a long afternoon for Scotland. France "should" be to strong behind the scrum for Italy and I think the French will be fired up after there poor performance against England
