kx100 66 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Share Posted February 3, 2011 well im going to apply for my sgc but was also woundering how hard it would be to get a fac for the bunnys i have plenty of permissions but somthing else that conserns me is that in my house its a new house so theres no brick walls appart from in the bed room but its only 1 wall all my other walls are plaster bord and the floors arnt brick/stone and we dont have a garage biut if we were to mound it to the brick wall in the corner the other side of it is plasterbord and it would be be on show unless we make somthing to go around it that wwill discuise it as somthing else? danebrewer10 6 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Share Posted February 3, 2011 same here, all our internal walls are plasterboard, with 2x4's and noggins bewteen then with rockwool in the gaps, our cabinet is screwed to these upright 2x4s and the ol plod is fine with that....(plus the darn thing weighs nearly 90 kilos so not exactly something you could run off with! using Grabber scres (link HERE)screwed to the wall it's as solid as a rock! Jonophilpott 0 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Share Posted February 5, 2011 Make a small hole in the plasterboard where it cant be seen and see how far the block is behind the board... Our cupboard is the same but when we drilled through it was only dot and dabbed therfor the block was only an inch behind the board. I used 4" Grabs and its solid as a rock.
