fresh earth 47
Died down at around 1-2am here before that the wind was extreme i recon we may have got the end of that australian carry on sertainly felt like it anyway had to go collect a mates dogs as the roof had blown of some of his pens. One things for sure there was no hope in hell anything down wind was hearing or smelling a bloody thing . Quote Link to post
watchman 256
A messer will always look for a reason not to go,to wet ,to dry,to windy, not windy, full moon,to dark,Dog tired. The keen lads will be out no matter what, trying to get a run.Must say never heard to windy before. aint that the truth Quote Link to post

adamb20 22
was out last night in weardale right on the hill tops. i can deffinitly say i have never experienced wind like it. the dog was chasing a rabbit uphill against the wind and it looked like they were running in slow motion lol. still got bout ten though with two dogs and a couple good runs on big ears, not bad for this time of season. leeroy 29
Aknow we all love a good wind when we'r out lamping but earlier 1 of the boys foned asked if I fancied a shine tonight but it's proper blowing of gale here just know really stormy winds so I decided for the safety of myself and the dogs to give it a pass tonight but made me wonder if any of yous would venture out in they conditions for a nights lamping? I stop when you have to hold your lead like a kite string (vertical). Quote Link to post
adamb20 22
could of done with some ski glasses like as when the wind is pelting the rain in your face its hard to see lol. might invest in a pair. Quote Link to post
