Raymond 618
I think my seasons over. I was out the shed yesterday and heard that noise coming from my 2 main workers hutch.I said it cant be.Yes the buck was stuck. I have 2 kits I kept back. I got them out to put the collars on as Im still doing a bit of pipe work, collar work and getting use to my lurcher pup with them.I was thinking your going hunting the weekend girls. You wouldnt believe it there all swollen aswell. Im a bit baffled as my ferrets always come into season around April.I always seemed to be nearly last to get kits.Has anyone elses ferrets come into season earlier than usual. Do people still work there ferrets while there mating.I know it gets a bit messy. I might still get the buck out.He mighten do as well if alls he wants is to get into the jills. If its over Ive missed out on about 4 to 6 weeks ferreting. Cant believe it. Quote Link to post

diggermad 154
i still work mine when in season my jill is expecting her kits in about 6 weeks may leave her now until next year but still have 2 more jills to use they are coming into season now think just work either 2 jills together or 2 hobs together will get nothing done if you use 1 of each they will be more interested in mating than bolting the bunnies for you ATB DM Quote Link to post
