DogMagic 461
If the cuts are just like scratches, salt water 3 times a day will do it. I use hydrogen peroxide 9% solution on anything that looks like it could get infected then cut heal. You can get cut heal in a paste, powder or spray. Iv never bothered with the powder and some dogs dont like the sound the spray makes and wriggle like mad. Also if the cut is near the eyes dont use spray. If there is lots of bleeding i use pottassium permanganate to stop the bleeding. As for closing a wound, you can buy vetinary skin staplers or use superglue. All depends on the situation, if it looks bad then get it to vets rather than f**k it up. Quote Link to post
rabbit mad 10
go to mole valley and get some antiseptic blue spray that is for cow or sheep feet it will stop the bleeding and stop infection. you just spray it on 2 times a day . Quote Link to post

fieldsman 51
Eh? Superglue??? Really? superglue came about as a quick fix in the Vietnam conflict if someone needed emergency stitching.I dont know if commercial superglue has the same ingredients but moisture sets it so its ideal in cuts sets instantly.
