hullhunter 219
i was having a cig in my yard when a staffy bitch with tits full of milk came in my yard so a brought it in to the back yard then went and asked about to see if anyone knew whos it was. no one knew whos it was so i rang the dog warden and told them ive got a staffy in my yard with tits full of milk they said they can not come out and get it as it was later than 10.30 and asked if i could keep it till the morning i said no as ive got no were to keep her so he said all i can do is tell you to let her go and rome the streets and some one else should find her tomorrow . what a set of to**ers they wanted me to let a fully milked up dog witch had pups somewere rome the streets and basically kill the pups. anyways found whos it was they rang on an other line just as i was about to put the phone down. rant over

nod 285
the reason for that was cause most councils do not provide an out of hours sevice anymore, cutbacks, but they should have a drop off point where you could have taken it to,

hullhunter 219
oh and the best bit was when the owner came and picked her up i didnt even get a thanks if it had of been the other way round i would have slipped him a tenner for his trouble. it cost me a few £££ to ring round on my mobile. and all i expected was a thanks but even that is to much to ask in this day and age. Where I live, the dog wardens are not an on call 24 hr dog welfare set up. They round up strays and fine people who let their dogs foul the streets.

Yip.A thankyou isent asking for mutch. But some people are just pricks.A few years ago one of my terries got out.So i phoned th police/local cat and dog home asking if it had been handed in.Was told no.Next day Undi was going by the cat and dog home so he had a look round the pens.Low and behold there was my dog. When i was picking it up.I asked the lady who had handed it in and when.Told me the police yesterday at 3 O clock.I informed her i had phone the police and her office at five O Clock the same day and was told no terrier had been handed in.There mistake. But i still had to pay £83 for the two days.
