millsy44 72 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share Posted February 2, 2011 Hello boys, i was out on saturday with the old man up my cattle farm permission, sorry theres no pictures or a write up, (it was a shotgun day) lol anyway les (the farmer) had a walk over to us, and gave me the lovely news that he has a further 38 acres of land and im welcome to use it "Terrific" Now ive had the permission on his farm for 4 months or so now and im up there regular doing my best to clear the barns of doves and ferals, and the lake of ducks, This got me wondering...............why has he only just mentioned this extra land after 4 months?? Why diddnt he mention it when i first started shooting on his farm?? Testing me maybe...........?? Anyway this 38 acres got paid a visit before it got dark on the saturday, its only 3 miles from the farm so we had a look on the way home, i parked up next to the gate and smiled my little face off!! rabbits rabbits and more rabbits, bouncing all over the field!! squirrels running along the fence and even along the gate 3 ft away from the car, there is a beck boundary all the way up the left hand side and a large wood and a few spinny woods, i got out of the car and had a walk round and the further i walked the more i smiled,A large oak tree stands right in the centre and woodpigeons scatter in all directions as i get near, this looks a top bit of land and im planning on paying it its first hunting visit tomorrow, so look out for the write up and photos Quote Link to post
