mackay 3,328 Posted June 10, 2011 Report Share Posted June 10, 2011 The only deerhound blooded dogs I've personally seen worth talking about were lurchers with deerhound along with other breeds in their make up. My brother owned two full deerhounds, nice dogs but couldn't run a message, first crosses apart from some of the lighter bitches weren't much better, Seen a few three quarters which were not bad but nothing startling which, when bred to other lurcher types threw some not bad dogs.
