jasper65 6
Got sent a clip of this film last night taking us back to 1964 when the Mods took over Brighton. Its no Quadrophenia but could this trigger the Mod revival and get all the Teenagers off their computers and social networks and onto a Scooter? would like to think it would simular to the effect Quadrophenia had on us as boys. Can't see it happening these days but here's hoping Brighton Rock
lamaha 7
I live just along from Brighton and theres always been a healthy scooter scene there. Not my cup a tea mind! Just yesterday saw a lad striding a long the sea front, Parka ( not a fish tail) with a target on the back and "The Who" all over it, so you may have something there! Rake aboot 4,936
The scooter scene is quite strong in the UK. I travel to rallies all over, was at a do on Sat night, 400 turned up. I have a collection of Lambrettas and yes, your right, the money is ging mental, but there is still a strong young scene of lads and girls geting into it. Yes I am 43, and yes, I have a parka

comanche 3,057
I'm confused . I thought Brighton Rock was a film about gangsters starring Dickie Luvvie Attenborough. Always been into bikes but if I had a scooter it would be done up with as many mirrors ,fox tails ,tiger tails and lights as the weight limit would stand . So naff it would be cool . Ever heard of the Unridables , a custom scooter club ?. They chopperize the things and are pretty respected and accepted at big bike rallies . Mind you ,you'd be hard pressed to ride through the streets of Brighton like the guys in the film at any time of day or night these days. Traffic crawls during the day and the streets are full of drunk transvestites at night ! I love it Edited February 2, 2011 by comanche
