southcott 9
i very often wake up early and sit drinking endless cups of tea and watching old rubbish on the tv . well this morning i thought i would have a quick shine, i left the house about 4.30 and to my delight the rabbits where out and very settled. my little lurcher did some real good runs, i am finding she picks them up better on the turns close to the hedge, dont think she is quite fast enough on flat, but i am hoping this will improve with fitness and practise, well we came home with two rabbits no more early morning tv for me . FightTheBan 1,147
I used to have a great ferreting spot 3 hours drive away. Used to leave at silly o'clock, lamp from 3 in the morning untill it got light then ferret all day before coming home. Used to get shit loads mate. Got some of my best bags doing that 100+ The longer they are out feeding, the further out they are and the more settled they are. FTB Quote Link to post
