my first pup

hello all iam geting my first dog tomorow ,well i did have a cockerspaniel as a kid, iam geting a patterdalexlakeland iam going to be keeping him or her indoors i have 2 kids and 2 house cats. The dog is 12weeks old iam hopeing it gets on good with the kids and the cats iam going to be takeing her on alot of camping trips as i spend a night in the woods about once a fortnight. have any of you people got this breed dog or no if they make good companions ,familydog, worker lol if there is such thing. i will get some pics of the pup up if there is any intrest in the post thanks for reading.

pickd up the pup this morn 12weeks old tan in coulour its a 3/4 pat 1/4lakeland little beaut the fella i got him from bred em for his own working use he works on a farm ratting and rabbiting , hes geting on super with the cat and my kids love him ,i will be smokeing some rats out for this little gezzer to have we named him boycey after my old ferett ,godblesshookeystreet.

I do a lot of carp fishing and Im camped out for a couple of days/nights,I take my Patt dog with me all the time he loves it,nice bit of company and he lets me know if there is anybody about but I have to bath the smelly little before I go co's he likes to crawl in my sleeping bag there's no reason why wont do the same

We take our lakey bitch camping with us all the time she luvs it and she protects our camping area like a devil possesed. good luck with him.

i take my lurchers camping all the time ,they love swimming in the river hunting up theirselfs and lamping on the night ,except my camping trips are normally spring /summer time

my favorite time to camp out is winter i love woodland camping plus in the winter you hardly see no one plus theres no mozzies ,check out a little vid i put on utube of me and my boy camping last week ,just type in gowersponger it should come up,.

went up scotland a few year ago in winter ,the snow was 12 foot in places ,cars got snowed in we had 2 get a local farmer take us nearest cleared roads 2 get pick up from a mate ,cars were stuck up their for a month ,done the winter a few times but its not for me,i,ll have a look of footage
