Saturdays outing

Hi all I ventured out last Saturday for the first time since my car crash , I went to a garden not to far from me that has about 7 good sized warrens in it and you wouldn't presume you were in a garden as it so rural , my young ferrets decided to mess about so it was down to my old girl to get stuck in , first warren was hard work but once the rabbits started coming I was ok by the second one I must confess for the first time this season after a dig I droped the rabbit doh , I was out fir the day with a newbie wanting to learn the ropes so was nice to have company and to help someone into the sport as winters would be very long and boring for me with out me ferreting , we did 4 warrens had a couple of digs and ended the day with 7 rabbits plus I droped one and the newbie learnt a lesson about netting over roots and twigs when he saw his prize leaping across the woods lol so all in all a good day back at them and rabbits in the freezer and a new ferreter in the making even if it did leave me knackerd and a bit dizzie still at the moment

No I was fortunate enough that the lad I took out picked us up , but looks like a weekend off again this week as no lift
