cyclonebri1 8
Hi chaps, Look I know this may go against the grain of not paying for vermin control, but, over the last 20 odd years we ventured up from the midlands into the southern countiesof scotland to ejnjoy the scenery and blag a good few rabbits, The 2 farms nmorth of dunfries no l0onger seem to allow/want shooters Is this result of firearms issues in this region over recent years??? or of poor public understanding of country pursuits?? The real query is can anyone provide a couple of chaps that require a few days bunny bashing with some leads to a new location???? Thanks for any help Edited February 1, 2011 by cyclonebri1 Quote Link to post

swamp thang 16
Could it be that even today miximitosis has depleted rabbit populations in Scotland even more drastically than in most parts of the UK ? I'd always assumed that the worst effects of miximitosis were over and done decades ago, which is why it struck me as odd to find so many bunnies with mixi symptoms in my snares that I set out in Wales just last summer. cyclonebri1 8
By nature mixy has the greatest effect in dense populations, In Scots land, it's because the rabbits really are drawn to the bagpipes and the hagiss, and becuase they really do feel safe as the Scots never could shoot straight, even with a blunderbuss. Yes I asked for the replies, but just looking for a bit of paid for holiday shooting, take care Quote Link to post
