T4msy 0
My old theoben sirocco is very slowly losing pressure. I have stripped the gas ram out and the seals are worn. I thought it may be the fill valve first but have replaced it and it doesn't leak. I placed the ram in a bowl of water and when moving the piston back and fore u can see the air escaping. Has anyone got any idea where i could get a replacement seal?? I emailed theoben but awaiting reply. Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. Theoben's after sales service can be a bit crap so don't hold your breath waiting for a reply.... Are you sure the seals havn't just gone dry? A little smear of pure silicon grease on them may solve your problem. Or try getting in touch with these guys, they make the rams for Theoben.http://awt-silencers.co.uk/ Cheers. Quote Link to post
T4msy 0
Just got a reply from theoben. They still have the seals but want me to send the rifle to them for the work to be carried out. I'm guessing they'll probably charge me the earth for a 10 min job i can do myself. I have a brocock pump to re-gas the ram, just need to chrono it then. Quote Link to post
