Rake aboot 4,935
H Fixed mag , then try Meopta. Vari mag then try the Hawke sidewinders Both available for decent cash Quote Link to post
Treacle Trackpad 6
Work out how much you can afford and go from there. I'm considering the new Minox scopes at the mo, just need to have a gander through one and compare it to my Leup. As far as what mag etc, that also attracts a 'depends' answer. What are you shooting and at what distances? Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
For cheap glass look at the second hand market, and buy quality, you have a good calibre that can reach out a bit so no point in putting a cheap scope on it, look to the states for the zesis conquest range, they are excellent for the money although maybe you may regard them as still expensive, As for power, i'd recommend at least something in 4.5x16x50 or 6.5x20x50 your choice, but you will need it if you get on good with the gun and start reaching out to a distance good luck Quote Link to post
danebrewer10 6
I'd second the second hand route as cheap optics really is a false investment, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is, Leupold do do some cheaper glass, look at their VX1 and VX2 ranges, I'd just go for a fixed six ir 8x, the fixed 6 has served me very we;; on my HMR, possibly a tad underpowered, but I have looked at foxes out in the distance and if on the right rifle, I;d feel confident taking charlie out to 200/250m wit one..... Sometimes you get away with the duty sometimes not, i have a friend who bought about 12 zesis conquests for friends of his, sometimes you may need to apply for an export permit from the states but thats noting difficult, And they do return damaged or faulty glass, Snap. HUnter_zero 58
Go for a nice Tactical 10x40! You still see Tasco super snipers going for less than £200. Falcon Menace £160, Bushnell £160. John Quote Link to post
kernel gadaffi 0
WTC 6.5-20x50 or an MTC Viper/Taipan 6-24, all are cracking scopes for the money. Quote Link to post
CUPCAKE118 0
Have looked at a Meopta Artemis 2000 3-12x50 very clear image and a retical zoom feature that incresed the placement clarity! Quote Link to post
