IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY DOG

Recommended Posts

b] And finally it must be able to end it fast and efficently and allways go for the neck. I dont want a bum chewer.

Personally, I wouldnt give a feck where it took a hold as long as it made the catch, seen dogs look for neck holds, also seen very catchable deer escape  ..........

i would love a greyhound pup out of good stuff, and start into trainin and racin them... the greyhound idea is just a lingerin thought that i've had for a year or so, i'll probably never act on it :)...

I have exactly the same ideas as you thier oldskool, about starting to train a greyhound or 2.

Allways wanted to get into it, never had the time or space, prehaps one day. ;)

blimey mate, so you didnt mind a bit of wasted venison?

85% of something is allways better than 100% of nothing RH ;)..........nothing to do with me mate, just what I have seen!

I wood sooner let it live to run another day than to be only able to eat 85% of it ;)I dont want to waste any, but if your after numbers than it doesnt matter where it grabs, if it will grab anywhere than there will be more deer caught in the season. Either way i would sooner see one caught with style and killed quickly than 10 getting pulled down by their arse, getting ripped into

Guest oldskool

i always wondered why dober/greys werent more common too... we had 5 over the years, my word were they quick to learn!!! would probably be a nicer cross than the gsd/grey?? only one out of the 5 made a good guard dog though, the rest were a bit docile!!

another dog i always fancied was one of these 'minshaw' lurchers that people talk so highly of!!

I ALWAYS FANCIED HAVING A GREYHOUND AS WELL .

BUT ONE DOG I ALWAYS WANTED IS A BASENGI, FECK KNOWS IF I SPELT IT WRIGHT :clapper:

THERE A BREED FROM AFRICA SMALL NIMBLE DOBS , THERE TAILS VERY OFTEN CURL OVER, BUT VERY SMALL TAILS.

SOME TRIBES STILL USE THEM TO HELP WITH HUNTING SMALL GAZZEL IN FOREST. THEY ARE QUITE NOISEY.

WOULD ALSO IF I HAD THE SPACE LIKE A PURE KELPIE. TOMO :)
