WILF 48,100
"1939: Sky Sports News has just shown footage of Avram Grant chatting outside the West Ham training ground (COULDNT AFFORD THE NIGHTWATCHMAN ANYMORE) - and the Hammers boss says the east Londoners could still add "maybe one" more player to the squad before the close of the transfer window. Carlton Cole, however, is staying put, he says,(CHANGING ROOM NEED A NEW COAT OF PAINT) despite links to Newcastle."

gnasher16 30,565
so if thats your thoughts why do you say your loyalties to sport are severely tested and you are left scratchin your head ? you cant put the all the blame on the clubs , andy carroll stated he has got his dream club , wearin the number 9 shirt and earnin a fortune he will never spend , and 1 thing is fact the players carry all the power now so if he had any loyalty he could of said im going nowhere and newcastle couldnt of done a thing , same as rooney back in october wantin MORE MONEY and gettin it Rio ferdinand being paid in full by man.u while under suspension for failin to take a drug test, they where loyal to him , and behind there back was speakin to chelsea,no loyalty in fact morals of a sewer rat , these people dont live in the real world Gnash so comparin them to factory worker or any workin class bloke is an unjust to the workin man. For the simple reason that sport for me has always been about the best beating the best.....i love the pure competetive aspect of sport......Andy Carrol is NOT worth 35 million,if Tevez,Rooney......or in all honesty Torres is only worth 50 !....Thats what leaves me scratching my head, the fact that an unproven sportsman can have the same or more value than a proven top level sportsman.....simple. Why you talking about morals for ?.....tell me this who should be most important to a professional footballer the club he plays for or his wife, kids and family ?......should a player tell his mrs and kids " no darling i dont want to treble my weekly wage and secure our childrens futures i want to be loyal to the football club i play for " That IS the real world, you wouldnt do it in your job or many other men in theirs......and that IS the reality.
