i dont no how some comment without trying ,to breed there own , had sevral greyhounds not all were suitable three went to pet homes or p t sleep , only 2 turned out decent dogs worth having there blood in them and they produced decent animals pups etc,that in turn produced pups which were good ,use all go on what about the actual pups you have bred out of a greyhound, or tried ,no good submising and it doesnt make a blind diffrence if a1 track bred or coursing a season of work soon lets you no whats in there tank or what they bring to the table or not all this here say no good ,and what ifs ,ive bred lurcher to lurcher for years but there comes a time when you need a good greyhound back in for one line or big whippet greyhound i no that for sure for running down fast qaurry ,on lamp or daylite

well i guess this thread has proved little really other than what we already knew, that greyhounds are the most underrated dogs in the lurcher world even tho everybody has greyhound in their dog oh well im having fun finding out about them and i suppose thats all that counts just does my head in that he has no jaw power, no stamina, no nose, has bad feet, is slow as f**k,is a jacker,cant jump,is funny with other dogs, worrys stock,disloyal,runs straight into hedges at full speed and has no interest in chasing game of any size :blink:
