gnasher16 30,121
I did like his post fight interview with the american press though......"if you want to see a chess match watch Mayweather v De La Hoya but if you want to see 2 blokes knock shit out of each other watch me & Castillo...."....... he probably didnt mean any disrespect by saying it but i think hattons got some nerve saying this....mayweather and de la hoya are proven legends who have fought and beat the best over many years...who has hatton beat? a washed up kosta tsyu and a washed up ben tackie...when he moved up in weight for the big bucks he was made to look average by a very average fighter and quickly moved back down where he feels safe, and then struggles against a very limited opponent in urango....and next is likely to fight another opponent at a very late stage in his career in castillo... Hatton has been very well managed throughout his career....id like to have seen him properly tested with a prime kosta tsyu or a prime castillo or corralles. He,s a decent fella hatton and i hope he continues to win,but i think he needs to look at his own fights and preparation for fights before he says too much about others. Guest TUFFTY
IMHO Mayweather is pound for pound the best.
Guest oldskool
i think if hatton had a rematch with eamon mcgee then magee would get him if he is in form
AKA-BRINDLE 879
i think if hatton had a rematch with eamon mcgee then magee would get him if he is in form Seriously!! dont think i could sit through another 12 rounds of Mcgee hiding on the ropes just waiting (&waiting) to unleash his left Hope all those that backed Urgano lost a packet! was a good clear points desicion Hatton-V-Castillo looks to be a cracking tear up! AKA-BRINDLE 879
If Hatton backs him up on the ropes like that and unleashes thoses body shots...............Early doors!
baz 464
i thought hatton was struggling towards the end, although he never laid off, he looked very tired. urango was a strong guy and i think a lot of boxers would struggle to bully a guy of that size, he looked about 15 stone
