scothunter 12,609
ok lads my lurcher pup a month ago started shaking his head and scratching at his ears.so i took him to the vets, got drops but there doing no good.there is no smell from, the ears and dont reckon its canker.its when he scratches he squeals a bit cause of his nails.apart from this he fit as a fiddle.will let you rub his ears hard and i can hear a watery noise like he has wax build up.think you would call it sticky ear.clean his ears but its way down in the ear hole and i aint gonna poke about down there.ill go back to the vets if need be,but as i said last time was really a waste of time and 44quid lighter for my trouble.would almond work?or if any lads have had similar and know any tips,be appreciated. Shazza 52
Get some "Thornit" powder mate, great stuff it dries up any excess fluid in the ear as well as killing ear mites if present. 1 pinch of powder down the ear canal once a day for 3-4 days and it'll be cleared up Edited January 30, 2011 by Shazza Quote Link to post
