A TEC mod on a 22 rimfire your views please compared to sak mod. Thinking of getting one.

Waste of money as far as i concerned, although i have an A-tec on my centrefire,

 

Sak cheap as chips and how many could you get for the price of the A-tec.

same here, not really an appreciable difference in terms of noise reduction, but a lot more expensive, I think benefits to more expensive mods only come in when you consider CF mods, for the RF? the SAK is a good as any.

Hey guys, you may give me some advice on Mods. Just looking to buy one for my tikka t3 lite 6.5x55. It is pre factory threaded. Dont know what to go for. Full barrel, A Tec or what. Help! Any advice is greatly appreciated

if you buy a reflex mod like T8 make sure after use you give it a good soak in wd40 looked after they will do last for years...if you want to take apart for cleaning then any of the stripable mods will do you but the same thing give good clean after use...NEVER LEAVE YOUR MOD ON YOUR RIFLE AFTER SHOOTING...it can swet as it cools dropping moisture down the barrel and rusting it eventualy.

Only one thing is though. I really dislike wd40. OK it is water displacement but anyone who uses it must follow it on with 3in1 or some suitable coating after the wd.

The price of the t8 here is 400, gona wait a wee while before adding another 400 to my debt due to rifles.
