venomviper 129
very true buddy the foxes are getting worse now and not only that they will attack small dogs and cats plus people as well i have done more trapping of foxes and shooting them close up the last few weeks it is getting a bit boring lol but a job is a job there was even one fox that got into a car (doors open) to get the fresh cooked chicken out of the bag so yeah i must admitt that they are becoming a bit of a pain in most places now cheers lads for the nice comments shay Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
hi ya folks feels like ages since i last did a post well here we go as i was chatting to karpman(ryder) on here tonight well rubbing it in so to speak as he couldnt come out for a shoot lol only joking buddy i went out for a couple of hours lamping well the start of the night was great a nice clear golf course by 17.00hrs so off i went to a couple of little hides that i know were the rabbit come out to play hummm just the one came out so as i could still see a little i set the reg'd ultra up to the cross hair on the brain of the rabbit and thawck off she went with one hell of a dance and i thought came to rest so i stayed where i was to see if any others came out a good 1 hour went by then i noticed something moving around were the rabbit came to rest so i slowly put the gun to my shoulder and set the lamp on and there was mister charlie and as you all know i always have a shottie with me in case of things like this so i turned the lamp off and loaded the shottie and waited i knew he would have the rabbit given chance plus they all walk along the fence line so he would come to me sooner or later and yes he did by now i had set the ultra up on the bipod and my bag so it was just the right hight so when i turned it on i would have the chance to take Mr charlie fox and so i did one shot to the head with a 3"magnum at 15mtrs very clean head shot and not even a twitch that was it for here i thought i went over to get the rabbit and there was her hole the blood and fur was all over the hole that i didnt see was there oh well it happens to all of us so after bagging the fox i tried another spot by this time i saw 4 more foxes running around dam well this mean only one thing if these are about there aint going to be anymore rabbits feeding so with that i packed up and started to walk back to be picked up by the wife but i really enjoyed my night out and enjoyed winding karpman up to who i must admitt is a true gent a nice bloke to chat to and look forward to going out for a shoot with very soon i hope you enjoy it lads regards shay hi shay nice write up buddy shame the bunny got away! nice shot on the fox too! but just a kind reminder, this is a air rifle section, peeps might get the wrong idea! just some friendly advise!
