how many of you make the most of road kill ie: rabbits, squirels, pheasants etc, as long as it's freshly killed i allways make the most of this free grub for the ferrets, just make sure you freeze it for a couuple of weeks to rid any parasites sorted !

during the summer when pheasants seem to be even more stupid than usual i will stop and pick them up as often as is safe and can i just take this oppurtunity to thank Lord Barnard for this ferret feeding fare, especially as i usually have a nest full of young ferrets to feed

I pick the odd rabbit up here and there if it's still warm! I find the eyes are a good indicator, if the crows haven't pecked them out, it hasn't been there long..

If the car in front of mine kills it id lift it otherwise id leave it ,just a couple of hours out in the sun and they can start to go off
