But you can get the cream in a liquid that just dry's off really quickly just ask the doc, never found a shampoo that works that well though, good luck with it but thankfully the nicer weather is on its way and that always seems to work well on mine. Best to avoid alcohol if you have skin conditions for two reasons, 1) it dries your body out, the same as why you get a hangover, and 2) it stings like f**k. shushyjukal 41 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Share Posted January 29, 2011 I get it on my scalp. I shave my head and that helps loads. As for medication nothing helps at all it just makes it worse. The only thing that worked was tescos copy of head and shoulders. Looks identical bottle but cheaper. Head and shoulders made it real bad but the tescos has completely cleared it up. Not one bit of it on my head now and no itching! Worth a go, just give your skin time to adapt to it over a week or two. Good luck! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
buster 8789 64 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Share Posted January 29, 2011 you can use something called betacap it dosent get rid of it it just stops it itching. there is a shampoo that you can get called polytar you can get that from the chemist that is suppose to get rid of it.
