rolysmate 49
Its a case of using the right supplements in my opinion, top athletes at the peak of their fitness will and do use them. what supplements do you use mate, and what benifits do you see them giving your dogs, and also what made you think of using them. As I said a lot of top sportsmen use supplements even though they may be at the peak of fitness but its using the right ones and looking into the science/facts behind them and the proven results. B complex daily http://www.healthandgoodness.com/catalog/product/vitamin-b-complex.html B12 if I know theres going to be a heavy setion http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/vitaminb12/ Multivit daily And of course some form of rehydrate after running Have seen improved condition in dog and faster recovery rate. There are lots of other supplements out there that some people swear by or have tried but to be honest lots have no scientific evidence/proof and in fact can have adverse effects,ie seaweed supplements don"t have any scientificaly proven benefits but many will act as a blood thinning agent not really something you want with a dog that may get cuts and rips Should add as well though that this is not a short cut and you still need to give a good diet and plenty of fitness work Edited February 11, 2011 by rolysmate Quote Link to post
