braveheart 1 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Share Posted January 31, 2011 I hAd a 27/28 inch black an tan saluki grey. He killed 10 foxes in three nights without getting bitten. He made it look easy in small fields too, then on the last one he ran this fox to a stand still . The fox fronted the dog and locked onto his big long hooter, the dog jumped back and started barking. A bull x was slipped game over. After that he would still catch them easily but would let go pretty sharpish if they turnt to face him. Best dog I have ever seen run by far but not for me.. He went on to a friend who ran him daytime hares and did very well.. I think they need that bit of bull, Wheaton, deerhound, in them!!! Quote Link to post
