saluki crosses taking fox pre-ban?

i own a 7/16 saluki 9/16 greyhound that does am singel handed without troubel you might find sum pics in older posts

my mate had a saluki greyhound out of merlin and eve lines (judy)that did charlie single handed she sadly not with us now great bitch kenneled out would not live in worked to heel.she did everything he asked of her still worked at 12 yrs she was a good school mistress to, got some of my dogs working.and sadly he has never been able to get 1 close to what she was.she won us some good match money 2 r.i.p judy

 

so yeah u do get them but i not seen many more since

i also be to differ i know two lads that i lamp with regular on seprate permission that do the business alone one is a saluki collie grey and the other is saluki bull grey both very good confident dogs

whats your point? i personally wouldnt buy a saluki x with intentions of using it for fox, but im pretty sure theres some saluki crossesout there that do the job, iv just baught a dvd called 'one man and his dogs' he runs a saluki/greyhound x bull/greyhound and a collie/greyhound back too a greyhound put across a bull greyhound, he runs both on fox and the saluki cross slams them charlies about like there a toy!

Stumann off here had one 3/4 Saluki 1/4 Grey and remember one trip out it retrieved 5 hare and 2 foxes (shot) single handed. Cruz was about 20months old at time

been out with few saluki based dogs some good some not so good, did go out with couple of decent fox retrievers merlin eve bred, with a fella who lived in liverpool, for hare dogs, they knew exactly what the foxing game was about. very impressive indeed
