The one 8,485
Stand on the peg pull the loop tight with your finger and run a bit if branch up and down the snare (rabbit ) till it retensions Quote Link to post
oggy808 24
sorry peps should have said fox snares ,ps been here just over 6 years never seen a rabbit on this farm (165 acres) but a lot of foxes !!!!! Quote Link to post
Holdaway 2
Fox snares are use once and throw away. Steel cable would be virtualy impossible to retension. Not that I have tried. H Quote Link to post
heritage 202
Have to agree with TW, There are two main types of wire used in the production of fox snares and once kinked there both almost impossible to re-work.....so throw them away after use (but not before removing any re-useable components). gnipper 6,502
Your either made of money or don't catch an awful lot in them then mate, rabbit snares can be re used they just need a bit of tweaking to get them useable again. Quote Link to post
The one 8,485
Aye you can catch a good few rabbits in a snare before you bin it ,a kinks easy sorted id only bin them for a broken wire or similar Quote Link to post
