simple question?

Bst if you know a Vet you can trust real well a good honest country type Vet and if he is keen on genuine hunting all the better,The problem is if you have not ben to a Vet with an injured Terrier or any other breed (That lets say got into an accidental "Kennel fight!" or ran into a wild animal in an unknown earth and got bitten by a wild animal while you were out exersizing Berty in the Woods etc:) if you had a visit from the Police acompanied by the Tree hugger bragade (that have NO RIGHTS unlike the police)But if the police take the tree huggers as experts for advice "As they often do!" You will soon end up in court and not a leg to stand on ."if proveable Vet care was not sort!" Also if you give a good home to a Terrier that previously had a so called bad owner and the Terrier had obvious signs of heavey scare tishue etc: it is best to go and see a Vet and tell him you are giving this poor terrier a good home as it was obviously abused a some unknown place in the past and ask for a paper sighned and stamped that the dog you aquired was like this as you got him or her that way if you get raided you will be well covered in advance (any injurey where proven Vettenary advice is not sort BEFORE A POLICE RAID)you Terriers will in all proberbillity be taken and you will be prosicuted .Hope this Helps Jonathan Booth

I pay the vet to take professional care of my dog's wounds, not to tell his opinion on my hobby. If he has problems, I simply go to another vet, simple as that. There are many vets in the town and most of them are normal and also know what they are paid for.

I am a bit crap at explaining myself but as I tried to say above if you state to the police durring any possible visit or even raid that you dog is under proveable Vetenary medical attention (nameing your trusted genuine vet).under the eyes of the law you were doing all you could and had nothing to hide in all proberbility they will walk away and leave you alone temperarily so you can get things in order ,Jonathan
